Each year, the Wimbledon Official Poster captures the timeless essence of The Championships through a fresh artistic interpretation.

As Creative Lead, I oversee the selection of talented artists and collaborate closely with them to craft a key image that reflects Wimbledon’s storied tradition while celebrating its unique character. The poster serves as more than just an artwork—it’s the heart of the event's visual identity, seamlessly integrated into every touchpoint of the guest experience. From tickets and programmes to memorabilia and displayed around the grounds, this illustration threads through every aspect of Wimbledon, embodying its sense of place and timeless charm.

2024

The Official Poster for 2024 celebrates Wimbledon’s iconic trophies and rich floral heritage, brought to life through vibrant flowers formed from symbols synonymous with The Championships. Crafted with a unique approach to visual storytelling, the poster reveals intricate details and hidden layers the closer you look.

Featured prominently around the Grounds, in OOH, and on a stunning 20-metre hand-painted mural, the artwork also inspired a retail capsule collection that became a best-seller.

2023

The Official Poster for 2023 celebrates Wimbledon’s unique traditions through a stunning blend of artistry and symbolism. Created by illustrator Eric, the design frames the unmistakable grass court with an ornate English garden-inspired border featuring strawberries, roses, hydrangeas, and the iconic Boston Ivy of Centre Court. Interwoven throughout are symbols of The Championships, including trophies, umpire chairs, and Rufus the hawk, paying homage to the event’s storied heritage.

Developed from pencil sketches into a layered digital masterpiece, the poster was prominently displayed around the Grounds, on the tickets and on merchandising.

2022

The Official Poster for 2022 celebrated the centenary of Centre Court with the evocative theme, ‘The Stage Awaits.’ Capturing the grandeur of Wimbledon’s iconic court, the artwork symbolises the timeless drama, tradition, and excellence that define Centre Court.

The design resonated so deeply with the spirit of Wimbledon that the same artist was then commissioned to work across the entire campaign. From its prominent placement around the Grounds to its integration into the broader campaign, the artwork became a defining feature of the centenary celebrations.
