Celebrating Brazil’s passion for football… and beer
As one of Brazil’s biggest beer brands and a proud supporter of Brazilian football, Brahma sponsors top-tier clubs across the country. Our task was to activate this partnership in a way that truly resonated with fans, creating authentic connections during key moments for their beloved teams.
As Art Director, I worked closely with a copywriter to craft engaging and impactful campaigns that spoke directly to the passion of football supporters, ensuring Brahma became an integral part of the football experience.
Brahma sponsored Corinthians as they prepared to fly to Japan for the FIFA Club World Cup. Known for their relentless chant of "Vai Corinthians" (Let’s go, Corinthians), the fans became the inspiration for a social competition that would take lucky winners to Tokyo to cheer on their team in person.
To build excitement, we launched a series of impactful ads in Brazil’s biggest sports newspaper, all published on the same day. This approach generated massive buzz and drove a surge in submissions.
When Atlético Mineiro, affectionately known as Galo (the rooster), won their first-ever Libertadores Cup, Brahma—proud sponsor of the club—celebrated in style. The morning after the historic victory, we launched a celebratory advert across Brazil’s major sports publications, ensuring fans woke up to the joy of their team’s triumph.
The real surprise, however, was for the opposing team’s supporters. A van playing the sound of a crowing rooster drove through their hometown, a playful nod to Galo’s victory. Captured on video and shared across social media, the activation helped fans show who truly ruled the roost, generating widespread attention from fans and media alike.
